the old nature versus nature conundrum. Personally, I don't think we're born 'mean.' I think people learn or are taught to be mean.

In the great big newspaper of life… nice rarely makes headlines. ‘Mean’ is what ‘nobodies’ do to get attention. I don’t believe the human animal is born mean, but it’s certainly a trait easily acquired. A thought provoking write, Deb

Good one, its hard to say, as everything is nature vs nurture, but i personally feel that we are all born with no mean gene but sometimes children pick up behavioral traits and it can often be learned behavior, from their environment such as home and school that leads to what they are in the future. Its a bit complex. But well let me just state that in few words you’ve got me pondering here, how clever and powerful are your words: and i have a special place in my heart for kind genes and souls
