The Many Voices of the Wind

The Many Voices of The Wind

Whispered it
Through fencing creek
The work of a thousand sighs
Speak on branch tip

She rests her hush
By bladed grass
Soft as rattled tambourines
Prance in her leaves

Ah but she howls !
The shrieking crevice
Blown force she crashes
As cold as knives

And kisses she on cheeks
With wayward caresses
Convoluted voices
Roll in the waves of her laughter

Nods all the flowers to a lullaby
Humming on wings
As she passes by
In silent dreamy poetry

Ruffled up in skirts and clouds
Giggling in the breadth of heaven
Yet she will moan aloud
Through tombs and dungeon

Tip toed from your breathing
Stirred by a butterflies wing
The great wind hurricane
Comes calling

Congrats! Of course it's wonderful, I was particularly caught by the sudden and unexpected rhyme in the second to last verse; it's such a punctuation. It would be a great end verse? Try it? Light & Love Debbie Guzzi
