The Manipulator

You want to keep me
by your side to be
used like a dirty rag.
Is that all I'm worth,
I am more.
You couldn't love me,
yet you desire me,
but your heart belongs
to another one.
Any time I leave,
you cry as if you
lost your heart,
just to lure me back,
but you never tried
to change your
manipulative ways.
Your tears meant nothing
to me now,
No,not anymore.
My heart is dead to your tears.
You are nothing to me now.
Can't go back to the place
where my heart ran from.
No one is allowed to clean
their dirty feet on my back.
I moved on now with my dignity,
for that's all I have,
my dignity.
