The Man Poem
I am a man and that’s what I am.
I shave my face and firmly shake hands.
I cut my hair short and kiss my wife’s face.
She melts in my arms as we firmly embrace.
I hate to go shopping or talk on the phone
and the projects she asks for don’t ever get done.
I never have need to read from a map
I always know exactly where I am at.
I mow the yard and take out the trash
and when I have an itch I always do scratch.
Yes I am a man and that’s what I do best.
I drive my wife crazy and to this I confess.
