The Man In the Moon
I sat alone
In my garden chair
Gazing up into the sky
The bright moon
Seem to beckon me
My heart skipped a beat
When my eyes spied
The man in the moon
He looked so divine
So warm and alive
He smiled softly
And I almost cried
My lonely heart
Lifted out of misery
My skin shivered
My face smiled
Oh yes he was
My man in the moon
