The Man In The Elevator - CM

The man in the elevator
This time with the person inside,
And in that space, the silence sir,
As he put on a smile so wide.
"You’ve been a busy bee today,”
Said, with a cheesy, gleeful grin,
“I missed my floor, and, by the way,
next life or floor, see you again.”
So now the person takes the stairs,
With an anxious heart and sunk head,
For fear of what a person wears,
Who’s a ghost in the lift instead?

Aloha! Hilo Poet, Was this man in the elevator a real person or a ghost? I would take the stairs. Would you? Enjoy your day my friend. /Darlene/

A ghost or a hoax, but methinks, the former be true, a ghost he’d be...Aloha~Darlene, William (a.k.a. Hilo Poet).

Thank you, Valsa enlightened me as well, saying 12 lines max and not min! After my letter to Dear Abbey was downsized, I'll now add CM! Ugh...Aloha, William.

A very interesting read, arousing curiosity and suspense. Isn't life itself an endless climb up and down the lift, sometimes alone and sometimes with fellow passengers! If this is for the contest, please read the instructions carefully. Only a maximum of twelve lines are allowed.

I thought it said minimum, need glasses, which I have, not at that importanté moment, which was an easy fix as the gist/revelation, was at the end, thanks Valsa, now lengthy version downsized and reentered for an easy read. Aloha, William.
