The Man By the Water

Water surrounds him, The moving water awakens his prowess, The unruffled flow in the dead of night eases his sleep, After being awakened by his muse, He needs to go back to sleep, The man in the lighthouse, The man in the light pinnacle, Years have gone by, There he loves to dwell, He desires no other company, All the ship's mice are never a deterrent, He lives above them.
