The Magic of the Wind

My brand-new garden spinner twirls When breezes start to blow. It joins my dancing windsock, Strips a’flying to and fro. The wind provides the magic For the whirligigs and trees, From little puffs of air to gusts Of varying degrees. On days when all is still, I hope The weather will improve So I will once again enjoy All things the wind does move.

I can see that "dancing windsock" now, Ilene. I love all the imagery in this one.

Such a simple, yet profound pleasure the wind provides us. Nicely and delicately presented, Ilene.

Perhaps in a previous life you lived among the prayer wheels, flags, and banners in the Himalayas? Enjoyed! Aloha!

Another example of superb rhyme and flow, Ilene. I always look forward to your latest. This was so breezy, I felt it blowing through my hair!
