The Love Within

If loving yourself is hard
It’ll be hard for others to love you
You came into this world beautiful
Don’t be convinced that isn’t true

Easy to lose sight of your beauty
Letting society determine your worth
Risky to succumb to judgement
Better to define your purpose on this earth

Always chasing your tail
If relying on someone else to build you up
Better to look within
In order to fill up your cup

It can be a long winding road
The path will be littered with detours
But the journey will be worth it
As you mature and become inwardly secure

Hello Mike Oleary, Good advice in this poem. All of us should love ourselves. Yes we are all beautiful. Enjoy your day my friend.
