The Love of My Life

THE LOVE OF MY LIFE I'm too old for him to exist Too many years have past He is and was my ideal man But I did not find him He would be loving like John Protective like Peter Kind as Job was found to be Yet I didn't know him He would be wise like Solomon But not sliding backward He would be as true as Enoch Yes, I did find him He didn't just love me But could be trusted He could be loved dearly For He loved all mankind Copyright, Kathryn Search
