The Love of An Angel
When I think of you I,
see a smile that doesn't end.
I see a friend who understands
I turn to you in a time of need
To help me find the peace I seek.
I am young and naive
But with some love and guidance my friend
You can help me make it make sense.
My spirit is growing and longing for more.
I am a fire burning out of control
Take my hand and walk with me
Telling stories I can keep.
I may stumble trip and fall
But you’re my angel helping me through it all.
You build my strength and confidence.
When I think of you I,
see time and time again,
you standing before crossroads.
With all your heavy burdens bare,
they are more vast than your resolve,
more complex to ever share,
your broken path you have followed,
seems only there for you,
but in his spirit you now walk
your choices will be true.
for his path is blessings.
the way to him is love.
your heart is full of joy
with eternity above.
