The Love

I did not tell him as often as I wanted to
Yet I showed him as often as possible
I did not tell I enjoyed his presence
Yet I had spent a lot of time together

He never said he was busy
He never said I do not have the time
He never said do not follow your dreams
He never said I could not be

I did not tell him that he was my all
Yet I truly respected him
I did not tell him that he was the best
Yet I truly smiled at everything he did

He always listened attentively
He always was there no matter what
He always cared and nurtured me
He always loved me unconditionally

Differences made us strong
Differences made us humble
Differences made us stick together
Differences were made for us

A love that was given and taken
A love that had died and became unstoppable
A love that had risen from ashes
A love for my dear father
