The Lost Rose and the Barb

The day i met her My mind was blown For in my heart In pumping growing She made me laugh And sometimes we cried When it all went wrong We always tried It's been many years More downs than ups She's no longer my kitten I'm no longer her pup The girl i met All those years ago Has disappeared No more after glow We are no longer The beautiful garb To me she is now The Lost Rose and the Barb http://www.thehighlanderspoems.com/life-3.php

thankxxx James for compliments conveyed on my Butterfly poem.. I just might write a new poem including all the things u listed in your comment .. .. ... of course, it will be a Fantasy poem... The Lost Rose and the Barb is a wonderful verse of insight and romance found and lost ... but the lesson ... never give up... everything happens for a reason.. maybe for u to share this lovely poem with all of us... we feel for u James... This is beautiful, James! I love the sweet, nostalgic flavors and the tenderness with which it is written. Truly a memory to always remember! Love, Robin

Sad, James. Counseling, prayer, and maybe the Mormon church, if any, could help revive the fragrance to your rose. God bless you and all who have felt the pain of lost love... even me. (Off to church, now.) Lovingly, Dane
