The Lost Princess

These flowers are beautiful; Their petals are fragrant They are nature's essence To eyes, they can enchant From where this beauty came? There must have been a face: Divinely fragrant breaths; Which was then nature's grace A princess, who was fair: Loved fresh air and green leaves The soil kissed her white feet Beauty is faith: soul perceives Who lost her existence Her blood made roses red Her breaths became the spring And thus the beauty spread March 25, 2022
