The Lord's Talents
If I observe the many talents bestowed upon us by the Lord,
I am truly thankful, the power to minister,
The Christmas manager scene, words become a wise philosophy,
Beautiful sounds at Christmas, carols being sung by the choir.
The piano concert, a companion and friend,
A band plays and the Carolers sing,
Enhancing the seniors and their relatives evening.
A theatre performance in the auditorium,
Acted by the gifted performers, days and nights that enhance our lives.
The artists' brush that creates beautiful Christmas cards and pictures,
Photographers that record special days and provide excellent memories,
The writers of books and magazines, poems and stories,
That our days and nights aren't lonely, curl up and read a book that delights,
Excellent days of skiing and skating, performances on television,
Athletes chosen because of their excellence, enhancing God's kingdom,
Singers communicating with their chosen song,
Blessing their audience with their performance,
The Lord's many talent's personified by humanity.
