The Lord Won'T Forsake His Own -Psalm 37: 1-7

Learn not to fret or envy any evil for the Lord cares for His own remember not to envy your haters the Lord watches what they've sown Vain is the way of wrongdoers for they will in no time soon fade darkened in their minds with folly all their dependance cut with a blade The wise know to trust God and His ways be faithful in their life always to do good delight oneself in all that is truly God your heart desires bring home His daily food Be committed and trust in the Lord for you'll find your Lord will act showing the light in His perfect justice never forsaking His own is a fact Be patient, be still before His majesty He will not leave nor forsake you do not fret over all evildoers the Lord is your protector always new ('Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!') Psalm 37: 1-7 (ESV)

"Be patient, be still" is sometimes the hardest commandment to follow. We always wish to do something, and usually we want to do it now. "Be committed and trust in the Lord" is always good counsel. Thanks for writing and posting this. Hoping the menace of Dennis has passed! ~ John
