The Lord Is My Shepherd
The Lord is my Shepherd
What does that mean
It’s not just leading and guiding
Or keeping us clean
It’s looking ahead
Keeping us safe
Slowing us down
Keeping a pace
It’s shearing the old
Starting a new
Knowing what’s best
And loving us too
The Lord is my Shepherd
Though sometimes I stray
I’ll never leave him
A gift I won’t trade
