The Long Walk
A thousand steps, a thousand miles, a thousand thoughts with every step, love, fear,
anger, and life, days of walking seem short, nights of walking seem long, not knowing
where walking will lead me, imagining the ground lighting up when each step is taken, city
lights glowing, traffic signals changing, cars passing by, feels like walking on the freeway,
following my heart is what bests, a thousand more years with a thousand more steps to
take.......
