The Lock On Her Heart

Events in life, boxes of memories Hidden in mind, with a lock on her heart Preserving love, where all betrayal flees No way to rewind to the very start Scars of unforgotten tears, swept with lies Hidden in mind, with a lock on her heart Fortress with balconies, to see the skies A safe place to laugh and dance on a whim Scars of unforgotten tears, swept with lies After inner healing, along came him He who had the understanding, the key A safe place to laugh and dance on a whim She was now whole, her movements he could see Hand in hand, step by step, in the balance He who had the understanding, the key Their whispered secrets under the valance Events in life, boxes of memories A creation at the end of absence Preserving love, where all betrayal flees Heidi Sands 11/29/19
