The Little Things
We don't have a mansion
on hill,
Or a big expensive car in
a luxury garage.
We are barely making it
living from paycheck to
paycheck.
But you are my everything.
I love seeing you after a
hard days work,
I love your masculine scent
as you walk in the door.
I love how you compliment
daily,
Sometimes I know I look a
hot mess
but you tell me that I’m
beautiful anyhow.
You look at me like I'm the
most beautiful woman alive.
I also love the way you know
just want to say,
When I am having a really
bad day.
And how you caress me often.
I love how you are there for me
when I am sick,
Your chicken soup is amazing.
Or when I'm cold you give me
your jacket, cover or warm
embrace without hesitation.
My darling it's the little things……
That shows your big heart and I
love you with everything that I am.
