The Little Sparrow

Edith Piaf was a sparrow
Who ignored the "straight and narrow"
No pure white dove
She sang for love
Just as wild as Cupid's arrow

Aha! A splendid sparrow. One of my fave birds to draw and watch. Greatly enjoyed reading this. I can also endorse Cupid’s arrow at least after I turned 30. Hugs, sally

La vie en rose beautiful, Rico. I wish Cupid's arrows didn't always fly so straight.

With so many poems about autumn leaves and homelessness, who could forget Edith Piaf?
