The Lime Rhyme
I thought I'd write a poem
That only rhymes with lime
You probably think it's stupid
And just a waist of time
But I can write whatever I want
Because this poem is mine
It's not like I'm doing anything wrong
I didn't commit a crime
But it's ok to tell me
If you think I've crossed the line
This poem is getting harder
With each stanza that I climb
There's really not any harm in this
Actually it's quite benign
If you want me to quit all this
I can stop it on a dime
Ok now I choose to be silent
Exactly like a mime
Now the poem is over
And this is my last rhyme
Sorry I was bored
