The Light Within Us All
The light within us all,
Is aurous and pearl white,
The essence of our souls,
Coming from the blessed divine
In all its piety and whole; sublime.
The light within us all,
Is everlasting grace received duly
From the most worthy being,
The saviour dressed in silk blue,
His love is forever shining through.
The light within us all,
When bridled with woe,
Inflames a deeper wisdom
A lesson that shall help reap,
Golden fruits in sweetness steeped.
The light within us all,
Is like blossoms rare,
Is our foothold upon which we stand
He offers forgiveness for the depraved,
On our hearts his shadow is engraved.
The light within us all,
Is magnanimous and bold,
Within both young and old
Delivering peace, bounteous and serene ,
Through him and in him, believe!
