Notes About The Poem

" DIVINE LIGHT " MY PHOTO, ©

Image may contain: sky, ocean, twilight, outdoor and nature

The Light Within

Oh, you doubting Man,
don't look at me from afar,
come closer
approach me
examine me
discover me.

Look, I open up to you,
there is no reason for you:
to doubt
to mistrust
to be afraid of me

for

I am the source of light,
the same light that has illumined this world since
the beginning of time,
the same light which
is also enshrined into your soul.

Come nearer,
do not hesitate any longer
but
respond to my endless calling!

Please,
look more attentively at me and you
will see the truth,
the only truth:
That
you and I, so much alike,
we are!

This is so beautiful Demetrios. A FAV for me. The photo also reminds me of that unusual sight I saw the other day in the sky, but it was at 10:30 in the morning :)

Oh, that I had more of His light in me. I'm missing your poems due to a little setback in December, and I so enjoyed this one.

It's is the light we should strive to see for there is far too much darkness in our world. For he is the way, the truth and the light. Tom
