The Light of Love
You light the light
That binds me internally
You light up my darkest hours
That frightens me to death
Throughout my every day to day
Through your light I am able to see
It blinds me to the world around me
It warms my soul and heart
Keeps me alive my demons at bay
For if you light should ever be taken
Or worse of all be extinguished go away
Never how shall I again see let alone be able
Nor wish to face another day
Due to this reason if nothing else
Without your light
How on earth would I be then able
To look you in the eye
Or see your face
If this scenario was to ever come true
Or be a my living waking reality
I would rather choose to be dead
Without you and the light
You only yourself provide
