The Life of a Sweet Little Rascal

They called him sweet little rascal
He was their life
The ‘sweet’ was gone first
He was their little rascal
He made them throw away the ‘little’, as it was too heavy for him
He was the rascal then
Now he understands the dimensions of “RASCAL”, the love is long gone

Jay Dev, Welcome to Poetry soup, I hope you enjoy the community. Here, you will find friendly poets who enjoy supporting one another. I myself, enjoy reading and commenting those who want to be read. The only time I give constructive criticism is when a poet desires it. However, if for some reason the poem is not my field I will guide you to someone who is more qualified than I. Stop by and read one of my poems if you like. My poems are not perfect, but I have a feeling you might like one. I encourage you to check out the contest page and read to receive comments. Tell me a little about your poetic skills if you like. It will be my pleasure to follow and read every poem you post from here on :) We are Lucky To Have you. Your New Poet Friend @-> LINDA <-@

Thank you Linda. I started writing poems one year back. Basically i used to hate poems before. Instead i loved stories a lot. But now i love poems and i always try to read more. Basically i am a dreamer. And i live in my own fantasy world. You can find some sad tone in my poems. That is because all my poems are based on my own experience except Don't be born. I take only 3-5 minutes to write a poem. I don't think much. The poems just came to my mind and my job was to note it down. I never used to show my poems to anyone. Poetrysoup is the first platform to publish my poems. I hope i can write more and ready more. I am more than happy to checkout your works. Thank you again....Jay
