"the Life of a Snowflake"

A thing of beauty is a snowflake on my hand.
Floating through the air still frozen as it lands.

There different in shape some square or round.
Staying frozen until they hit the ground.

We never have a snowflake in the month of June.
The life of a snowflake melts away soon.
                 Teresa Skyles

Wrote for Constance~Ramblin poet~Horses and Snowflakes
or Horses or Snow flakes contest

A thought of how easy a snowflake goes away.

You're right. It does not last by itself but can become mighty when mixed with its brethren. A lesson there. Congratulations. Love, Joyce

A charming poem, Teresa. I've heard no two snowflakes are exactly alike. And, yes, they melt way too fast! Best wishes in the contest! Love, Carolyn
