The Last Time

The last time I saw my grandma
She brought me gorgeous red material for a new blouse.

She always knew what to bring.
She did not come often, but when she did, we were happy.

She was my grandma, and I adored her.
I would have given her a lot more attention that day,

If I had known it was the last time I would see her,
And a much longer hug.

I probably would not have left her side,
Actually.
