The last spring
Today before the daylight is done for the day
My aspiration will reach my abode of longing, this may–
For once, this time
All the blossoming buds in flora and fauna, springtime zeal
Traveler there to get those together, we two shall prevail
Underneath your lushing green, spring shall be along, periodic
Among these, only one, I, aspire in thy, spared for me.
The daylight sank for long, for so long, in vain
Oblivious, I, was tossing in parables, then
A sudden gaze, your wandering eyes
Daylight dimmed as twilight hue sufficed
There is not much time left in my hand.
And so, I was counting them, one by one, likewise a meager mind
Uncomfortable, uneasy are all these springtime musing clues, to reprimand.
