There may be more of Irma bothering someone, some place, but I'm done. Thanks for reading my experiment with real time poetry about a terrible and terrifying event.
The Last of Irma

The last of Irma's passing by
Her wind's outside our door
Some rain is in accompaniment
The two of them and nothing more
There is no chance of tidal surge
To make the waters rise
Irma has no ocean near
To bring flooding to our eyes
Her wind and rain are minimal
As she passes mountain peaks
She visited Florida's Disney World
Now Disney Land is what she seeks
If you think my thoughts are foolish
There's no way she'll get that far
I don't think that you can count her out
She's been a record making star
Devastated many Islands
Many States were damaged too
If you're south and east of Kansas City
She most likely came to you
Be careful what you wish for
Don't wish hurt on anyone
You may get another Irma
She was anything but fun
Irma - The end for me
