MY MUSE, ALWAYS HAVE HOPE IF YOU HOPE TO LOVE YOURSELF SO YOU MAY GIVE OTHERS ALL THE LOVE YOU FEEL INSIDE YOU. THE EGO IS LIKEN TO A STRUCK MATCH, ONCE LIT IT CONSUMES ITSELF WITH PERVERTED PRIDE. Skat, it means what you feel reading the haiku. I always give up the poem to my reader, what they see and feel in it is what I want it to be for them to enjoy. I wrote it in the Buddhist tradition, the Zen way, the Tao THE WAY. TO ME IT MEANS IN AUTUMN, THE LEAF LONELY AND WITH COMING WINTER IT DECIDES IT IS TIME TO LEAVE THE BRANCH THAT GAVE IT LIFE IN SPRING. BOB
