The Last Days of Ignorance

In the last days of ignorance, those Hands that will shape and nurture the impending uncertain future meet. They discuss what powerful, influential Mouths have said. Hands preparing for the future Mouths have granted them.

Thanks for expressing your thoughts through your poetry, Scott. Good luck! There are some crazy people saying and doing some crazy things, and using Covid as their excuse. (Power mongers)

The people who thought it all a joke in beginning are the ones who prolonged mandates here. The problem here is also that we have an ageing workforce which meant loosing too many of them to covid would have meant loosing all that experience which cannot be replaced any time soon. Hope experience gained will have us better prepared for next pandemic. Glad I was not a decision maker around Covid and mandates. Take care and will continue to look for more of your poetry. I am not sure what your poem is all about since I also, like Sara, thought Australia to be one big total country. from what I see in the news of Australia, the days of ignorance keep increasing. I pray for the destruction of the corruption. I hope you are against the mandates.

I'll have to look this up and see what it is about. I thought Australia was all one big jointed as one people continent. I guess I am ignorant in this matter. I enjoyed reading your work. Sara

I fear that Australia is forging into the dark abyss of totalitarianism. They are using the VAX as a tool to destroy democracy. The USA is not far behind. Blessings, Paulette

Hi Scott37! I hope the origins of this current (ignorance) gets lost in a bunker in FL looking for his lost ball…. Your poem is a very strong, well penned political…But I doubt the Mouths that are can see their own lips in a mirror or have ears to hear their own voices. Health should be granted a divorce from politics! sally

I hope they are ignorance last days Scott.' It All started out like it was in a fog first in th UK The health service needed protecting & the elderly Vaxs could be 8 yes off Two jabs if you got them & we would get back to normal in 3 months we were all in it together.? I was told in early 2020 there would be a jab in 6 months but do not get it (not sure I waited) And sure enough a jab was ready soon and it not only worked against covid it fixed a lot of other stuff also.? Was it Snake oil?
