Whispers speak
the language of love,
a soft, soothing sound
that tickles the ear,
and flatters the heart.
Secretive, personal vows
meant only for one,
carried on a shield of trust.
Intimate musings
silently shared;
through a laugh, a smile,
or a lover's touch.
Your lips get
tantalizingly close,
as they brush her ear
with warm breaths of air.
And when whispering sweet nothings
bordering on erotic,
solicits a blush upon her cheeks:
your heart skips a beat,
interpreting the language of love.
