The Land of Aubergine

Brief: The Land of Aubergine

I search for the land of Aubergine
Where the Egg Plant is nurtured and raised
Pods of Byzantium Airships
Succulence with a Periwinkle glaze

I love your creative description of this wonderful delicious plant! It is a nightshade and I can't eat it anymore because of that. It makes my arthritic knees flare up, but I sure do miss it in my diet. Your last two lines are simply brilliant! Congratulations on your high placement Kevin!

Hello Kim, many thanks for my second place in your contest. I like to write poems that are easy to read, invoke images without necessarily saying anything. Poetry is great fun and for me liberating, Kind regards from Huddersfield in Yorkshire, Kevin xx
