The Lament

Glittering, glimmering and shimmering Clusters of our flickering flame Do grieve and weep for the withered Dreams meant to be outlived- Do dazzle the sights of million Witnesses of toils in that fateful Summer Afflicted with sighs and moans and groans and cries Who now thrust their juniors into deceit and lies- Do ignite the wrath of billion Slaves of bestowed treasures and endowed gold Blessed by the amorous curse of Plutus That could even transform nemesis into god. O young and beloved souls Leaving all bliss and light in that deadly Night- Do awake those willingly drowned in Styx For those Hoarders and Wasters who betrayed too soon Did once march alongside in heat and sweat Vowing to right the wrong back in that fatal June.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
