The Kraken
Blue waves ripple white tipped from the deep,
As the Kraken rolls gently in its sleep.
If the Kraken should begin to wake,
What a tsunami he would make!
Oh, the world is lucky the wind is soft and light,
For the Kraken sleeps peacefully tonight.
When the tide is out sand stretches for miles,
Scattered holes filled with crabby smiles.
Tentacles trickle toward shore the flow turns,
I step aside, as reaching, feeling, it yearns.
Disturb not the peaceful ocean spray,
And let the Kraken sleep for another day.
