The Knight

There sat the knight
High up on his steed
He was ready for battle
So ready indeed

They invaded his lands
They pillaged and raped
At the edge of his kingdom
So ready to take

Not soldiers but savages
They howled and they screamed
Their goal was to conquer
So ready to bleed

Their strength came in numbers
They outnumbered his army
There were way more of them
So ready an ornery

The Knight kept composure
They'll stick to the plan
He thought to himself
So ready I am

Enemy starts advancing
The horses they trot
Now the battle begins
So ready or not

The Knight gave the signal
For his army to go
Give then all hell men
So ready your blows

The army's they clashed
They fought deep in the night
Barbarians relentless
So ready to fight

The Knight he was brave
Said leave no one else
Take no prisoners
So ready yourselves

Savages turned and they ran
The battle caved in
The Knight was victorious
So ready to win
