The Kiss

We could have danced all night, around the calm pond where cold dark waves seem to send electric notes that echoed all around in the garden with melodies soft that sent throbs in our lonely hearts as we twirled and twirled, thinking of our love. From high above, luminous stars twinkled, on delicate, sensuous flowers, exuding faintly the sweet scent, urging us to speed our dance, to the tune of soft breeze, much to our delight as we cling more, two lips meet, it is Bliss. Even the moon held its breath still— a hush in the trees, leaves trembling in silence, only to sway gently with us. Time forgot its ticking pace, pausing at the edge of night, where all that mattered was your touch, and the warmth that bloomed between us— endless as dreams spun in velvet skies.
