The Kiss

With a deep breath he said,
What do you want from me
She said as she looked
With intense hazel eyes

Your soul

A kiss was given
Unlike anything he had ever experienced
He didn't know if he could survive
He didn't know if he wanted to

A stirring came from deep inside
Something that she hadn't felt in a millennium
How could this human
Stir feelings that no one else could

No one existed but them
Thunder and lightning surrounded them
To those around them
The power of the kiss

Was to powerful to ignore

As they stepped away
They knew
This was something that they couldn't ignore
This kiss
