The King and I
Some days:
I am looking in the mirror
only to realize;
he is staring back at me.
Frozen
we watch each other
until he
smiles.
"Who are you?"
Sometimes I feel like there is someone else here.
"I can feel you just beneath the surface,
or on the other side of the mirror."
Cold air mixes with our blood.
"So which of us is REAL?"
Please tell me how it should be?
'Do I scare you?'
As our eyes connect I feel myself dragged
into your dark abyss.
Some days it is not even me who gets out of bed.
"Tell me am I crazy?"
Tell me it is all in my head.
He reaches the surface
laughing, I am now his.
My body
is his puppet
he calls himself the grand
puppeteer.
I am not me
and he
is not me
so then who
are we?
Sometimes:
I wonder is he me,
or am I
HIM?
