The Key

I look into your eyes
two pools
of love and serenity.
Each time I see you
I'm trapped
In their snare.
I hope,
with those two gems
you can see
the key in your hand.
The key
that opens the door
To the farthest reaches
Of my heart.
My only wish
is that my eyes,
which find their gaze
lovingly upon you,
someday
will gaze upon the key
of the door to your heart.
