I like the way you've captured the vivid imagery and characteristics of the Kea. The rhythm flows beautifully well, and the choice of your words gives the poem a nice musicality. Well done.

That's a cute bird. I see why you call him flying emerald, their wings are so colorful in flight. Very interesting to learn that they live nest in the ground! Thanks for teaching us another bird!
