The Junk Drawer

in most human endeavors
there are those items that just
don't quite fit in with the rest of the projects

from batteries to rubber bands
to unused takeout menus there is
only one place to find what you need

none other then the
family junk drawer
thats right folks !

the junk drawer
we really need to clean that
Out !

from mama to me now
I 've taken over the junk drawer
just call me a pack rat LOL

I love this poem. Who could survive without a junk drawer? You never know when you just might need that extra thing you've stashed away!! We can all relate!! (I'm heading to the kitchen to clean mine out a bit!) Thanks for the cheery poem!....Fondly, Carrie

Yep, I know the feeling, and I have to admit that I have several of these. Anyway, the contents come in handy from time to time. This piece is real and I like how it flows. Great job! ~ Joseph

Thank you for allowing me to smile with this one. I think most people can attest to more than one junk drawer especially with teens in the house. My youngest goes off to college this year so I hope to decrease some of the junk. Wish me luck! I enjoyed this day brightener. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us and for your kind words regarding my haiku. Keep on writing my friend. Karen

Oh yeah, we all have those drawers don't we? Mine is actually falling apart from the weight of the items within it. LOL Excellent flow and clarity to your well penned write. Michael
