The Journeys of Paul

did you ever wonder
about the journeys of Paul?
the thousands of miles he travelled,
It was a major haul
at a time when there were
no jets, helicopters or airplanes
no means to travel
by cars, motorcycles or even on trains

but Paul was a true servant ,
so on and on he did go
doing the Lord's work
which upon him were bestowed
he was trying to disseminate
hoping to eliminate
the opposition and dissent ion
on his Gospel mission
he confronted many dangers
encountered new towns and strangers
sleeping in mangers and stable
no luxury to even eat at a table
walking for miles on end
never knowing when
how long his trek would continue
as he traversed from venue to venue

do you think that you could survive
what Paul had endured?
carrying out the works that
the Lord God had foresaw
to do what Paul had did
and live to tell the tale
not many of us today
could have accomplished it as well
