The Journey of Us All

Every person’s journey is unique We all face different obstacles Different terrains And head to different destinations Some of us are given maps straight from the start Knowing exactly where to go, the dangers to avoid, and a paved road to walk on Others of us are given signs Vague directions on where we need to go But the transit in between can be harsh and change over time And still others, nothing at all No idea where to go Where to start No path but the one they have to make for themselves But regardless, we all fall on to the wrong path sometimes Being lost and confused We get frustrated when we don’t know what lies ahead of us And we forget that we don’t have to always walk our paths alone But being lost in the dark isn’t always a bad thing Stars only shine when there is no light at all And the moon will never fail to appear So never give up on your journey We all have an end destination waiting for us So long as we never give up trying
