The Journey

Would you like to know me
And how I really feel
I am trying to change the who I am
I'm really trying to heal

Could you show me some support
Help me along my way
I'm not asking for a life time
I'm just trying to get through this day

My journey through the lodge was hard
Full of guilt and shame
True feelings and emotions
Are the hardest things to name

My inner voice was screaming
Just tell people how you feel
That's all thats really expected
Your expected to be real

When you release all your struggles
The weights lifted then its gone
Maybe I am worth it
Maybe I was wrong

Twenty weeks is nothing
When you think of what you'll gain
It's the place to leave your problems
The place for all your pain

That common ground of mirrors
Really opened up my eyes
It helped me find my purpose
No pain no fear no lies

The family keep you grounded
Keep you in the zone
You alone can do it
But you can't do it on your own
