The ‘Deceivers Of Time
Masquerade Ball’
Invitees file past
Yesterday in drag,
Tomorrow disguised
Today—the Present’s mask
Memories hide
in the shadows of hope
All wishes dancing fast
Until the Jester laughs
as the final waltz ends
Deception to the last
