The Jealous Poet
I envy the poets
Who fill each line
With colorful action
Of every kind.
Who rhyme
On a dime
And open the mind's door
To so much more
Insight and thought,
Trapped and caught,
Than I ever knew was there.
It just doesn't seem fair
That I am left scribbling words
Whilst they are writing in colorful flocks of birds.
