The Italian Job

I'm feeling dreamy again today must be the weather, some may say but my mind transports me back, to a peaceful place to a place in Tuscany, my dreamland to chase Its a little back yard, Italian inspired all the charm of the Med , no travel required it has elegance and is chic ,to draw in the senses its my place just be, to dream, if l am tense A stone path, of course, is a natural must and terracotta for warmth, a rustic touch and natural materials, for gentle night dinning a few citrus trees, give leaves, a fragrant , crush Its an Italian flair, paved with olives and herbs sitting on crimson green pillows , for scents to transfer l'll have a pergola, and climbing plants too a grapevine and jasmine of plants that l grew a set of string lights, for ambience at night and the vines above tangles, just for delight and l'll scent the night air , with candles, too and a small water feature, just in our view we'll sip in red wine watching stars in the pool with lily scented air in the hours , as it cools l'll have lavender and roses , to frame little paths and a small pizza oven, an idea aftermath and l'll have painted wall tiles and a dwarf lemon tree its my own cozy spot, so come sit with me

Absolutely amazing! The description of the paradise you painted is vivid and I can see it with my eyes closed. I love the rhyming scheme and what you were able to draw out. I've never been to Tuscany, but I'll put it on my bucket list...Thanks! :) - Diana

You've created a little paradise - in your poem, and sounds like, in your back yard - sounds lovely.
