The Inner Candle

darkness black, engulfing no sunrise awaiting loadshedding in life's corridor blackout. travel inward, soulsearch finding dormant beacon silently waiting to usher journey. Candles ever glowing lighting inner spirit rekindle life's pathways again shining. *Modern Cinquain © 2011 kashinath karmakar ======================= Placement:1st;(September 2011) Contest:By Candle Light Sponsor:Paula Swanson By:kashinath karmakar (23rd Sept.2011)

Kash-Wonderful form for this contest...it seems we both have something in common with traveling as an avenue to energize us for our life's journey. A spectacular win for you. Hope you have some nice rest over the next couple weeks too.

PS. I am impressed you could understand that poem with Biblical English. Have you read some of our scriptures from the Bible then?

Well, It looks like you did a very fine job with the modern cinquain, kash. I can't see a thing you could have done wrong here. Great title for a great WRITE. Sorry I missed it. I don't know when you got in all these poems that I didn't even know about. I'm going to try to stay here till 8, at which time I will exit swiftly and lie on my bed!!

Someone needed much rest.....this is rejuvenation for the soul...finding dormant beacon to silently usher journey sounds as tho without this rekindling u would have lost your way. Awesome imagery. It seems as like your inner candle is much like a lighthouse, Kash. :0 (shining....sp.). Gwendolen
